The Life’s-A-Picnic name has a couple of different meanings for these owners.
First of all it was a name given by Pattie’s husband, Bob who passed away in recent years. Bob liked the idea that a casual and
comfortable setting made people enjoy and appreciate their delicious homemade food that much more. Secondly, the meaning of
Life’s A Picnic means just that: life is a picnic with many choices, different for all, always a variety and many times a surprise... but
always with something to enjoy!
Georgann and Pattie try to bring that attitude forward in how they run their business. Cousins, friends and just like sister’s... they put
a lot of love into whatever they do and whatever they cook up. They compliment each other because of their diverse backgrounds:
Pattie with experience in sales and marketing, and Georgann a manager and banker most all of her life. They put this combination
together with 15 years of catering for their church, friends and associates, and bring it all together into Life’s-A-Picnic Custom
Catering; a family oriented business. Understand that these women are not just catering homemade meals, but come to the table
with a lot more. They've catered exclusive, intimate hors d'oeuvre parties for ten, as well as the intense and beautiful wedding
receptions for four hundred. And, they can customize any party or event to your liking, too. They may not be chef’s, but they are truly
two women who love to cook and make people happy, and it shows in their quality and client following!
